HI FRIEND!
IT’S SO NICE TO MEET YOU.
I’m Ally, your Food + Body Image Coach. You can call me Al!
I help women find food freedom and heal their relationship with their bodies so that they can embrace their full authentic selves and live a more intuitive life.
I didn’t always have a good relationship with food and my body. When I was a freshman in college I set out to lose weight and begin my “health and wellness” journey which, after a year, turned into 7 years mixed with yo-yo dieting, complete food obsession, and many hours spent in the gym. Safe to say I was ingrained in the diet culture BS that you and I are fed on a daily basis. I truly thought that with a smaller body and a six-pack I would have a significantly better life.
Until one day I couldn’t do it anymore. I was exhausted by disliking my body, participating in negative self-talk, playing the comparison game with women around me, and controlling my food intake. I was determined to finally feel at peace and start living my life again. This fueled my desire to heal my relationship with my body, find food freedom through intuitive eating, and make holistic health and fitness a part of my life without obsession.
Years later and I can honestly say that I love my body and I treat it with kindness and compassion. I have a balanced relationship with fitness, I fill my body with nourishing foods, and I can eat ice cream (with sprinkles) without a second thought. You can find me showing up to my favorite Boston restaurants without stalking the menu beforehand, worrying about what I should eat, and overcompensating with an intense workout.
As a Certified Health Coach with a Body Image certification, I help women feel comfortable in their bodies and at peace with food so that they can focus on all the other important things in life and be who they were brought on this earth to be. My 1:1 program is completely individualized while also incorporating my proven methods.
I will help you ditch the diet culture mindset so that you can trust your body and your food choices, and get to a place of self-acceptance which hopefully leads to a place where you can wholeheartedly love your body.
